Organization:
'L3C' or "Low-profit limited liability company" means organization under this chapter for a business purpose, satisfies and is operated to satisfy the following requirements:
(A) The Company significantly furthers the accomplishment of one or more charitable or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 170(c)(2)(B) of the formed for the company's relationship to the accomplishment of charitable or educational purposes.
(B) The most significant purpose of the company isnot the production of income or the appreciation of property
(C) No purpose of the company is to accomplish one or more political or legislative purposes L3C’s investors can also offer low-interest loans to needy students, finance low-income housing projects, provide credit to disadvantaged business owners, combat community deterioration, and help alleviate other social strains.”

Faithful Travelers L3C is a social enterprise operating as a Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C): Description of L3C: Taken from: IRS Tax Code Requirements 701 ©(2)(A) "Organized and Operated exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, testing for public safety, literary or educational purposes or to foster national or international amateur sports competition, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals". In April 2008, the 'L3C' was introduced to the United States, Vermont being the first state to enact this new type of company. In February 2009, Faithful Travelers L3C incorporated as one of the first L3C's in the United States. Our primary goals are promoting both national and international socially beneficial projects through travel, outreach, education, and socially responsible partnerships with local entities. We operate with an emphasis on international outbound travel and all forms of communication, working to bridge the gap between different people groups and entities by assisting them in the achievement of social, educational, and charitable objectives. Because of its tranching structure; Faithful Travelers L3C and its clients could be partially funded by monies once intended only for prudent investment. IE: Grants, endowements, government monies, state pension funds etc. This opens the door to trillions of dollars not currently available for socially beneficial investment. We are thankful to pass these potential funding opportunities on to our clients!Our friends and partners are individually chosen local entities in need of, but not limited to; regular/technical education programs, community feeding and homeless assistance, orphan and other children's caring resources, disaster relief, mobilization assistance, building projects, leadership training, mentoring, health care, evangelism, concert promotion, single parent training, public/private school assistance, VBS, international sporting competitions, and financial/funding assistance etc.
